Name: (Anthony)  Absolutely superb from the big defender. Looked at home in the Werder backline, let his presence known and had some close efforts on goal. He kept his teams shape today and made some important tackles. Will have a tough few weeks ahead but there is no reason why he cannot continue to shine.

Team Name: (Plan B)  Plan B brought their plan A to the pitch today and it paid off big style..stunning the champions salsa unit with a solid 4-2 victory to set the cats among the pigeons..Great win..! 

Sunday Premier league - BREAKING NEWS.....!!

• FC Kac and Manc Swagga draw 4-4 in a thrilling game. FC kac started off the brightest and set about not letting manc swagga get in their groove and it worked as manc swagga were slow and sloppy in the first 15mins of the game....but.....Manc swagga are a gritty team and they havent been runners up in recent seasons for no reason and they showed why today with a stunning comeback...Peter added a 4th for FC Kac....but leading goalscorer Fran(2), Sam Larkin(1) and Ryan(1)  got the goals to turn this match into a superb ending. Manc Swagga will see this a a point gained now as Salsa Unit have lost today and FC Kac will be disappointed in not taking the 3pts as they were 4-1 up with 8 mins to go and in full control of the game but Manc swagga pulled through to earn the draw..!

• Werder B. beat B. Cleverkusen 5-1 in a good competitive match. The game was even stevens for a good while as both teams tried to get their noses in front. Werder came the closest in the early encounters as they pressed for the first goal. John who was making his comeback for cleverkusen tried to keep his team organised but he couldnt prevent werder from taking the lead through Ian who hit a good shot to give Werder the lead,It was his 1st of the season and he played well in his midfield role passing and moving and keeping it nice and simple. John added another 2 and paul scored alongside a own goal to give them 5 goals in total. Cleverkusen had chances before Ben scored a sublime goal after they had taken a quick free kick and caught Werder napping as they tried to discuss a decision and got punished for not being switched on. It wasnt enough from Cleverkusen and Werder fully deserved the 3pts today. Werder defender Anthony was superb in defence and gave that solid platform for wereder to launch their attacks.

• Kool Runnings stay top on goal difference and this wasnt a easy win after they saw off Banyan Munich 2-1 to take the 3pts. Banyan made life difficult for Kool Runnings with their pressing of the ball and it took a good goal from midfielder Marvin to put Kool Runnings in front in the game. Kool Runnings continued to play how they play..pass..move..give it to mickey and let him do what he does best..pass..n..move.. and they contiuned to go in search of a 2nd goal. Banyan stuck in though and tried to find Dan on the counter attack. Banyans Macca and Kev tried to keep the backline steady with Goalkeeper Rory giving instructions as and when it was needed. Goalkeeper Rory also got booked for a sliding lunge which was almost a penalty..but as the game was going into its final stages up popped Kilo to give Kool Runnings that breathing space with a 2nd goal. Banyan got a consolation right at the end through the hardworking Dan but it was Kool Runnings who will take the points. Great game!

• Team of the week Plan B stunned Salsa nit with a 4-2 win to see them sit nicely in 2nd after 2 games. Plan B deserved everything they got today because they worked very hard for it. Salsa were poor today and just couldnt find their rhythm that was due to how well plan B played and how they made it difficult for the Salsa Unit to function. Plan B striker Dave hit 2 goals to take his seasons tally to 5 so far, Tom scored a wonderful low drive and Mark rounded off the scoring with a neat finish. Leon and Russ got salsa's goals but it wasnt enough to take the points of Plan B today. Plan B have big ambitions this season and this win goes some way to making a statement to the rest of the league about their intent because these days the title race starts from week 1 and Plan B have let everybody know..'they are in that race'...!

• Former Samba and Boca Juniors defender Luqman(luke) is ready to make a dramatic comeback to the league for any team that may want his services..he has experience, .won titles and cups in the sunday premier so would be a great signing if a team wants to bolster their backline and sqaud....!!
